well worth it
As someone who lives between a dunkin donuts and a starbucks, the bean is a treat! I haven't had any espresso drinks of theirs, but the iced coffee tastes just as good as it smells! Plus, the staff is really friendly and you can buy the roast they're serving.

Coffee is just plain poor, everything else good
As the title says...the coffee here is just embarrassing, so much so that I'll go up to Dunkin on 5th and 1st ave instead. On multiple occasions I've had to dump it out, so I've given up on getting my java here. But The Bean has great quiche and very delicious cookies, and a friendly staff.
