Big $ for tiny portions
Replacing the late-lamented Orologio on Avenue A, The Beagle is literally too much in decor and menu cost: $7 for 5 roasted baby corn, $22 for a 3-inch-long piece of sturgeon on sliced cucumbers, $11 for a glass of vinho verde -- twice the amount of a bottle at Trader Joe's. We'll not go back.

Very good food and cocktails. Particularly high quality for the neighborhood.
