Best bagels at UES NYC
Bagels made on premesis.Dozens of types to choose from. And there is their wide selection of cream cheeses/locs/etc. I even ship their bagels to West Palm Beach. BUT, now they serve pizza.Would just stick with the bagels.Been going here for almost 1 decade. An institution at UES

good bagel place
We go to the Bagel Mill on a regular basis for breakfast sandwiches. The guys behind the counter are always pleasant and service is pretty quick, the main guy who works the register needs to work on his social skills... The food is good, but I do have to admit the bagels are not as good as Tal bagel on 86. But unlike Tal, they have a wide range of breakfast sandwiches available. One downfall, no credit cards, even though any time you go there, they claim that soon they'll be getting one, in the meantime they encourage you to use their ATM :(, mind you they've been saying this since they reopened.

So Thankful It's Back in Business!!
The Bagel Mill was closed for most of the winter due to a fire that took out the entire store. It has just recently re-opened and has been renovated (larger, now extending to what used to be a separate adjacent store). Their bagels and coffee pretty much got me through my senior year of college and they're just as great now as they were then. I haven't tried their pizza (as I'm very fond of the pizzeria across the street), but their breakfast spreads are great. It's definitely going to become a staple of my morning routine again.

good but crappy service
food was pretty good. the guy who actually prepared my bagel was good but the register guy was extremely rude both times i went there. plus on both occasions they did not tell me that i have to put the sugar in myself so i had unsweetened coffee. even though i told them light and sweet. i dont mind sweetening myself but at least let me know.

Best bagels and spreads
I stop by this place almost every morning. (not so much in the winter). I pick up my vegetable spread on an onion bagel, my cup'o Joe and OJ and head over to Carl Schurtz park and have Mr. Bailey protect me from squirrel attacks while enjoying my breakfast. A little more pricey than your average deli but the quality is very consistent.

No taylor ham?
They are missing one key product - taylor ham. Or "pork roll" as the philly people call it. Bagel shops should be required by law to carry taylor ham.

A great bagel joint
I've never been inside the place but their delivery is speedy and the staff lovely - always willing to go the 'extra mile'...I called them one rainy Sun am for a bagel and coffee and to see if they had the NYTimes. They did have the paper but the delivery person stopped and picked up on for me on his way!!! Now that is an only in NY story!
