    what the f***

having eaten pizza here for four years living down the block, i was happy to still know it would be delivered to my apartment when i moved to alphabet city.... not so anymore, as i was rudely hung up on and told not to call back when trying to order a pizza.

    never again

I was a regular fan, but have received such rude service I will never order again. After years of receiving regular delivery (only being 2 blocks from their location) I was hung up on and roundly told to &^[%] off. Do not support this kind of behavior. There are too many worthy pizza joints with wonderful staff and ownership.

    unpleasant service, bad pizza

I may have enjoyed the pizza more if the man who served it to me wasn't so completely rude. I also had no cash on me and had to pay credit, and the minimum was $6. I had to buy 2 slices of pizza, both of which were given to me lukewarm, each plain slice 2.50. My friend was waiting for me outside at a table with a bag of food, and the man at the register, who seemed to be in charge, yelled at me, saying she wasn't allowed to sit there. I calmly explained she was waiting for me, but was given attitude. I finally raised my voice to the man, telling him we're not staying to eat. They treated a customer like dirt, and the pizza was less than mediocre. First and last time.

    Yum!

I'm a broke intern, so any place where I can pay for my food in quartersi'm happy! Go grab a bagel and it's a cheap/easy/delicious lunch! Plain bagel, toasted with sundried tomato cream cheese...get it!

    good basic pizza

I'm not sure why all these other reviews are so exclamation point laden, it's just a regular pizza place. But it is really good pizza, like the Platonic ideal of the greasy, cheesy $2 slice you want when you're drunk. Actually it's $2.25, which is the only thing I don't like about the place. Boo for sneaking in that extra quarter.

    Bagels with a free show

The guys at this place are awesome, they love to put on a show that is culminated when they fling the cream cheese knife back into the bin of cheese. They're always quick and take care of their customers happily.

    Oh My God!

This place is amazing, Not only can you get pizza, but the locals are so authentic it's got to be one of the real cool hangouts for poets and musicians. I think they should stop the tour bus so that out of towners can get a taste of nyc.
