    Good food, Poor service

I came here for dinner with my boyfriend and we had the duck and the scallop dishes, which were very good (duck was better IMO). The sangria is good, very strong. The tiramisu dessert and the chocolate desserts were amazing, and the atmosphere was really nice. However, the waitresses there aren't prompt, and we were completely ignored after we got our drinks basically. And finally we flagged her down 30 minutes after we finished dessert, so we wouldn't miss our train. For such a nice place, we were amazed at such inattentive service.

    Disappointing

I was quite excited about this restaurant since Rachel Ray had been there and raved about the food. I find this restaurant completely overrated. Although I did enjoy the atmosphere, I found the food and service were only so-so. I had the omlete and my friend had the lobster eggs benedicts. They were both under seasoned and completely tasteless. Despite the free cocktail that came with the meal, I will not go back again.

    Impressive!!

This place was great!! My boyfriend and I were walking past it and we called in the next day to make reservations and got in, surprisingly. We had the delicious mussels for appetizer, then he ordered the filet of beef, while I got the Duck and it was absolutely delish!!! We got the apple dessert in a wine glass and it just melted in our mouths. The Coppola wine was also a treat! The evening was perfect, and I recommend this trendy place to others!! Also, the waiters are not stuffy and rude, they are very nice and helpful. This place is awesome.

    Very cool.

I went to Thalia for the first time last night with a good friend and had a great time. Service was pretty slow, but that was okay..because the food was really great. I had the mesclun salad, and the scallops with hazelnuts and my friend had the special strip steak with garlic mash. The atmosphere was wonderful, really laid back while still maintaining the sophisticated vibe. I'll definitely be going back there.

    Pricey but worth the splurge

A great place for a relaxing Sunday brunch. Food extremely good and the place is beautiful. Have a mimosa sit back and enjoy, Makes you appreciate being alive and in NYC!

    Great Brunch!

The lobster eggs benedict is rich, creamy and delicious! I love all their other food too, including the juicy burgers and fresh salads.

    Not really worth it anymore

So I have been visiting this place for some time now do to its closeness to the theatres, and I have to say nothing changes. The atmosphere is great, I just wish that everything else would compliment. The food which changes every now and then, changes to the same exact thing. You would think they could change it completely, so that it would keep people coming back. The cocktails when they are not taken from the food and wine book are great. The bar for some reason seems to be getting worse. It takes forever to get a drink, and when you get their attention it seems as if you are bothering them. You have to ask for another cause they aren't asking. I wish they'd get it together.
