    Expensive and not worth it

It didn't remind me of Greece at all. This is basically a "kseno" (anyone who isn't Greek) trap. If you want real Greek food go to Greece....unfortunately nothing compares from my experience. Maybe one or two places in Astoria. Try finding a taverna by the water with the freshest fish for 1 hundreth of the price in New York. I don't understand what they are charging the scenery or is it the design of the plate?

    One of my favorites anywhere

I love this place! It's a gorgeous restaurant with incredible food and impeccable service. Very knowledgeable sommelier - try the Greek wines; great wine list overall although a bit pricey for domestics. Service makes you feel special. Food is outstanding - if you've never had handmade dolmas, try them here, although it's hard to go wrong with anything!

    Not Recommended

The food was good, but such small portions. They recommended a greek wine to us that was made by the same company that owned the restaurant! It was not good. The best part was the dessert, chocolate crepes.

    Expensive but worth it

Thalassa is one of the most beautiful restaurants in the city with fantastically fresh fish and attentive service....Be prepared to spend a pretty penny, but when you go a great restaurant like Thalassa you dont mind getting what you pay for... I highly reccommend it...Better food then Milos and much much prettier.

    Best Grilled Fish

Tribecas new secret you would never think such fresher than fresh fish is in New York. Grilled perfectly thought I was back in Greece overlooking the Aegean. Service was professional no jibber from the staff. Wine from Kistler range to full range of high quality - value Greek wines that was great. Desserts, need to hit the gym! Strongly recommend this rest if you like the finer things.
