Not a great eating experience
I ordered a Wild Seafood Curry and what I got was a few pieces of seafood in a plate with msg soup that was tasteless. At the beginning I thought that the waiter gave me the wrong plate because I couldn't taste the curry flavor. We were more than 10 people and we ordered different dishes and all my friends were complaining. The only thing i would say is that I will not go back to that place again and I will never recommend it to anybody.

why does the food suffer??
I've been eating at ThaiNY for about two years now and i must say the food has definitely changed taste i don't know if they've change chefs but they need to bring back the flavor they had a year ago my mom and i love the hostess "jenny" she is a just a delight very Thai and cheery also very knowledgeable about city events great price when it tasted like it was worth more .don't know what happened.....

colorful expression
These approachable restaurant made me felt energetic and impressive in the european chic design and atmosphere. I like to relax, to go out, to try anything new. I don't think it is the best Thai in the US but the very interesting one. The food was just about right. Tom Yom shrimp was very good. I will invite my my friends to come back there again this Friday night.

Best noodles in town
It offeres all kind of thai noodles here. I tried The so called spicy noodle dish on the menu. It was so good and spicy. If you were liked more spicyness you can add it on yourself on the table. They gonna give you a real thai red pepper which I can tell...very spicy but a lovely touch to those who love a spicy food. The atmosphere looks attractive and warm. It's pretty modern and chic design for the age. The service is not that impresive but ok..you could live with it. The restaurant has a great music selection.

We had a big party of 20 last week. The place looked so cool and modern. We loved the atmosphere at Thainy. The food was just fine as well as the service. We will return. By the way, It was a nice Sexy duck.

Great pad thai
Went there on a Monday night with a friend. The atmosphere is nice - pretty layout and design, slightly dim lights. Good for a date or an evening out with friends. The flavors of the food are great. My friend had a massaman curry with beef - great peanut flavor, the perfect amount of spice (this is a very mild curry - perfect for a mild eater like me), although a bit watery. I had a vegetable pad thai, which ranks near the top of all the pad thai I've had. Overall a great dinner out - I would definitely come back.

delicious chicken satay
We ordered many times there. Chicken satay was very good. That is one of the best satay in nyc. We loved the cooking here.
