One of the best Thai food
thainy was surprised me with a chic modern design and tasty Thai food. It worth to wait for a delivery in what the day you just want to go home. I am a fan.

Great food but poor service
Food was excellent especially the papaya salad and white wine sangria. Unfortunately, the service was subpar. Waitresses dont smile at all. I have eaten in many restaurants in NYC. I feel that ThaiNy has poor service.

too long wait, too small portion
It took 65 min for lunch delivery. When it arrived I was grossly disappointed at the portion sizes. I thought I ordered a larger portion with the choose 2 option than just ordering 1 item. The price certainly eludes to this. I'm still hungry. It looked like a 1/2 order. NOT worth $10 for lunch!

Avoidable
Deliveries are significantly delayed and the ordering experience is unpleasant. Unacceptable for any restaurant in NYC. Food is ok but not good value. The in-restaurant dining experience is not very good either as they try to rush you through your dinner.

good food, not friendly phone service
I really like the food, but I have to say, when you call to order at lunch, they usually put you on hold, and aren't very friendly, which is difficult if you need to order quickly. Be aware, their website says lunch specials end at 4, but they won't let you order them after 3:30, even though they know their website is wrong. It may seem like a small thing, but small things go a long way with faithful customers.

Great stuff
This place always delivers fast and the food is always tasty. I had a mishap with an order tonight and called in. They were so nice and rushed over and fixed the mistake soon as they could, it was very refreshing to see some good old hospitality! Thanks ThaiNy

Pleasantly surprised
I wanted a Thai in this neighborhood and after scoping out several that did not fit my needs, I came in here based solely on the availability of a small table in front. From the large menu I ordered the fish cakes app and massaman beef curry. The fish cakes were quite good though not as crispy as I would prefer. I wish thai restaurants could get a little more imaginative than the plain old sweet chili sauce as a dip. The massaman curry was one of the best ive had in nyc. Not the usual thin milky sauce. It was strong and flavorful, the way i make at home.
