try everything!
my favorite are the shrimp and crab dumplings. they are delicious. my main meal ther is chicken punang. yummmmmmm. i think their iced tea is an acquired taste though.

it's Thai, but not NYC standard
the decor is considered new & hip for thai restaruant, but the dishes are average of so called "thai-asian fusion", however great decor and average foods would need some outstanding services to back it up... Thainy is a total failure on service, the hostess she is just simply shameless. servers are average, we(party of 5)felt that we could've spent this average dinner @ my house.

Simply Superb
Ordered delivery which came hot and fast. The mountain chicken wings and the imitation duck were incredible. This is the best Thai in its price range by far.

Good food,needs to improve service!
When this first opened I went several times & had a lovely time,nice decor, modern find on 3AV, friendly staff & great prices.Lunch special is only $7.The foods are also really great!! HOWEVER -the past 2 times I went there, the service was poor. My last time (Friday lunch) consisted by one person in our party never being served and they didn't even apologize! The staffs kept chatting and laughing to each other ,then they forgot our iced teas. It was not busy and we do not deserve these. Not sure what the deal is but they have turned good customers completely off.

Great all around!
I love trying new restaurants, so I was very excited to try this new thai restaurant. The foood was great, the decor was hott, and the staff was very attentive! Highly recommended.

Yummy Thai
Have been meaning to try ThaiNY and finally had the chance the other night. So glad we did. Food was very flavorful with generous portions. Wait staff is friendly and accomodating. Restaurant that used to be at this location was there for a long time so the work they put into upgrading this space is quite obvious. It is very clean, sleek and comfortable. Can't wait to go back!

Bland Thai food
Ordered the Phad Thai and Yellow Curry and was not very impressed. The food had very little flavor and seemed to go for quantity over quality. Would not order from here again.
