    Bad to mediocre.

Ordered the cashew chicken, which was recommended by the waitress. It was awful. The chicken tasted like it had been frozen and thawed repeatedly -- flavorless and rubbery. The sauce was OK, the sort of thing you can find at a supermarket. Service was mediocre too. Prices are cheap for the neighborhood, but if my dish was representative I think you're better off eating elsewhere.

    one of the best

this is one of the best restaurant around in the area. Great food, friendly server, not a big fan of brown but hey what ever works for the restaurant right? as long as the food is great

    Great lunch menu!

Everytime I'm in NYC, I go out of my way to get the lunch special, here. I've been a regular patron of them for well onto two years, and while their menu has varied, I've rarely had a bad meal, here.

    Really Great!

c'mon, we've been going here for many years, and over that time we've seen the food change a few times and some times it was inconsistent, but i gota admit as a vegetarian diner, this place has been nothing but fantastic for months now, for normal dinner or the unbeatable :lunch special" this place is excellent. And among my vegan friends (even though this place does serve all types of food) they say the Panang Vegetarian Duck is the greatest vegan dish in the city! We love this place and if you want to just try it out, go for the lunch special you got nothing to loose and a new favorite to gain.

    Gone downhill

I also used to eat here regularly, but in the past month or two I have noticed a marked decline in quality and taste. I've given the restaurant a lot of chances since, but each has been a disappointment of bland, poorly cooked food. I'm sorry to lose the place, but I won't be ordering here any more.

    What Happened!?

I have ordered from Thailand a minimum of once a week for 3 years and this was some of the best Thai food I had ever found. Things have changed drastically in the last 3 months but I have tried and tried again....Food quality is average at best. I am sad to report tonight will be the last time I eat from Thailand Cafe :( What happened!?!?
