Great lunch spot
The lunch specials come with salad and appetizer for less than $10.

i miss this place :(
I used to live two blocks from here and now that I've moved I seriously miss this place. I used to order their lunch special to-go religiously-- great curries, delicious chicken/tofu pad thai. You get a salad, appetizer, and huge entree for $8-- which I used stretched into two meals. Can't beat that. I have eaten in the restaurant itself a handful of times and yes, it is small and it does get quite noisy. But the food is so fresh and it's such a great value that I don't care! Excellent place.

Decent food, service and atmosphere questionable
The food is satisfying. Mind you I've only had a few things, mostly appetizers--but they're all decent, otherwise I wouldn't waste my time ordering take-out from this establishment. Some other chap mentioned it here as well: their delivery.... I mean, their timeliness is nothing short of atrocious. What is going on here? Anyway, all this simply goes to show you is that New Yorkers clearly weather the storms and ride the lightning in some of the city's establishments. I both rode the lightning and weathered the storm at Thai Terminal.

Poor service
The manager was extremely rude. In trying to place an order, I called a dish by its old name"front spring roll"and she yelled at me to call it the "summer spring roll," yelled at me to use an updated menu, and hung up on me. I called back to attempt to place my order again, and she told me that the restaurant was filled with customers and she didn't care what I did. So I'm doing this! Poor service

I feel like i'm in an IPOD
I have never had good Thai food in New York. Oddly enough, I’ve had my best Thai food experiences in Flagstaff Arizona, my college town. Anyway, Thai Terminal is what I’ve been looking for. I’m not a Thai food connoisseur but I know my taste buds and they light up when I go here. The décor literally looks like an ipod attached too a wooden speaker base. At first this seemed too clean/trendy looking to possibly have good food, but boy was I proved wrong when my order to drunken noodles with steamed tofu/pineapple added came along. Sooo good. Big fat noodles, spicy basil sauce, and of course, pineapple (I had to order this extra) were great. This place has options for veggie eaters/fish eaters/meat eaters. Good place to order from or go to alone, with friends/date. I love it!

Delicious!
It's not difficult to find a Thai Restaurant in NYC, especially one in the East Village. However, it IS difficult to find one that's delicious. I've eaten at Thai Terminal numerous times and have always been satisfied! Best Thai Fried Rice (and they don't charge extra for brown rice)! The place is tiny so not good for groups but it's packed because you know its great and that's why people keep coming back!
