    Skimpy with the vegetables

I had vegetable pad thai, and they were skimpy with the vegetables. The sauce was good, and the prices were great. The Vietnamese menu is small, but I think this place isn't bad if you're looking for Thai food.

    A nice midtown treat

If you must eat midtown on the east side, this is a great place for catching up on conversation with very good inexpensive food. While the atmosphere is nothing too special (bad American pop music playing the whole time) the food is yummy and the prices are very reasonable. You can stay as long as long as you like without fear of glares from your server - while they're not overattentive, they are never gone for long. A great place for picking a bunch of appetizers and entrees and sharing.

    Great authentic food

For those who aren't on a vegetarian war path, I thought the food was great. Delivery was fast and the food tasted great. Portions are large enough that you'll have plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day.

    Vegetarians care that's who.......

It's not just a matter of picking the chicken out, if you don't eat meat or animal products, this type of contanimation can make you ILL! Why should we pay for that? We shouldn't and I won't! Maybe you would have prefered more shrimp, but at least you got what you ordered! Your "who cares " attitude is the same attitude displayed at this restaurant across the board. "Who cares if you didn't get 12 shrimp, you got (some) shrimp" is what they're saying to you. What goes around certainly comes around!

    Skimpy on the Shrimp

Oh who cares about some chicken in your vegetarian dish, words of advice, don't eat it. The pad thai is tasty although the 4 shrimps leave you wanting more. Coconut curry soup is tasty as well but overall Im not happy I moved out of the 20s as Lemongrass won't deliver to me now!

    Vegetarians beware!

Very rude to find chicken in my order having already specified i'm vegetarian and only wish to have broccoli with the penang curry. The clever disguise of 'vegetarian' did not mask the many small pieces of chicken at the bottom of the curry. Also to note, the size of the lunch special is the same as the regular portion, but you are not told that, so you would be foolish to order from the regular menu minus the salad. ah, the salad is iceberg, it's saving grace is the dressing. the staff at Thai-Nam have a serious problem with honesty regarding non-vegetarian preparations and don't care to make the appropriate adjustments. i am disgusted with their disrespect towards paying clientele.
