    Mock Duck mmmmm!

Dont listen to these wankers, this is the best thai food in the area beating out ott and everything. I do agree the pad thai is a little lemon heavy but the veggie options...including the mock duck are to die for. My wife loves meat but orders it almost everytime. Quick delivery...great value...and the same smiling faces greeting you when you pick up your food. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

    Worst Pad Thai Ever

Just got delivery from Thai Cafe, and was extremely disappointed. I truly think it was the worst pad thai I've ever eaten! Bland, overcooked vegetables, hardly any flavor at all. Won't be ordering from there again!

    Always Delicious

I have been eating at Thai Cafe for years and I have never once had a meal that was anything less than delicious. The white rice is so-so but that is my only complaint. The takeout is fast and dining in is nice too. The ambiance is comfortable but not romantic, and the waiters are always nice and generally attentive. I have no idea if this is "authentic" Thai food, but it is cheap and tasty and I would highly recommend it.

    Cute decor good prices

I went for a friend's birthday and actually found this spot after 4 previous stops...including Sea. The decor is nice, not too large, great ambiance and good prices. The food was good as well. The Red Snapper with tamarin sauce was good, but not as good as spice, the size of the fish was definitely smaller, but still enough. They have this strawberry and champagne drink which was really good! All in all go there...

    Eh.

It's cheap, but that's one of its very few draws. The food isn't particularly flavorful, authentic, or worth a far trip. Furthermore, the food is hit or miss, more often than not, it being a miss. The open kitchen is cool, although it can be kind of gross when you see the chef grab a handful of raw chicken or beef, drop a piece into the broccoli and sometimes pick it out (sometimes not). They also have a good chicken wing appetizer. I also agree with a previous reviewer that the curry noodle soup is good for a cold.

    decent but not 1st choice

the pad ke mao (spicy noodles with tofu) was made with fish sauce. the fresh spring roll is bland and tastes like nothing. the service is great. other better places around the hood...

Delish food in a jiffy @ a great price.

I am a repeat lover of the green curry, the basil chicken is easy on the palette, but the pad thai isn't the best I've had. Other dishes I've had there have been good, too, and for the price, it can't be beat. Pick-up is easy and fast, delivery not too bad, and eating in a pleasant experience. It's probably the best thai place in N. Greenpoint.
