    Poor quality and rude

Will not return. The dish I ordered [chicken] was of fair quality chicken. Tasted strange. The service somewhat abrupt and slightly rude.

    Not recommended

Chicken tasted spoilt and the noodles simultaneously had no flavor and a really strange aftertaste. took one mouthful and threw it out.

    Great food

I went to Thai 51 with my husband and a couple of friends the other night. We had a great time. Its a small place, so don't go with a big crowd. The food portions were perfect and the food was very fresh.

    Delicious

After a recent recommendation from a friend, I had to give Thai 51 a try. Awesome red curry--packed with flavor! I also ordered the green papaya salad which was lovely and refreshing. Delivery was speedy. Will definitely order again!

Try Noodle Sukiyaki (or some name similar) It was really good!

It was a great experience overall. The food was great. We had Tofu51 for appetizer and pad Thai, and Noodle Sukiyaki, and all the dishes tasted just great. Nice and cosy atmosphere, and kind service. Costed less than $50 including tax and tip for a party of 2 for dinner (such a reasonable price in Manhattan) definitely worth it.

    Nice Thai Food

I was in the mood for some Thai food, and found this place near my job. Quaint (read tiny). Pad Thai Chicken was tasty...I've had better but i hit the spot. Also had the dumplings...very good!! overall....nice place, will revist if the craving returns!

    Loved this place until....

I used to go here every week. For those that have eaten here, you know this place is TINY! fits about 10 pple and there's usually a line. Well, one day, we (the 3 of us) were next in line to be seated...after waiting for about 20 minutes the line started getting long and the fron was crowded...a table opened up and instead of seating us, the waiter seated a group of business men waiting at the back of the line!! I stopped the waiter and told him that we were next in line but he believed that the guys at the BACK of the line was next. He refused to ask the waitress b/c she knew who was next. He said another table will open up shortly and told us to wait. We ended up leaving and went next door. For such a small place with lots of potential, it's a shame they don't know how come up with a simple system such as taking down a name and the # of people to the party..that way, this would never happen again.
