1st time I ordered the food was really pretty good. Not phenomenal but it got the job done. I felt like it was a good option considering that NY isn't known for outstanding BBQ and because there are not a lot of BBQ options here. Chicken and Ribs fell off the bone, decent sauce etc. 2nd time the food was inedible. The ribs were tough and fatty. The side dish of kernal corn seemed to be canned corn that had been microwaved. The corn muffin tasted old and stale.

Texas has some decent barbecue food. Its not great, but it gets the job done. Its a little bit pricey for what it is, but hey its NYC. The main problem is the service. It is often late, sometimes never showing at all. People on the phone are curt and rude. Occasionally the wrong order is delivered with little care. Order at your own risk.

The price for the rotisserie chicken combo here is a great value but the chicken, unfortunately, is hit or miss. Sometimes it's perfect; sometimes a wee bit....funky. Sides have always been solid and fresh. I only order the chicken so I can't speak to the entrees on the menu. Because of the ocassional "funky" chicken, I lean toward ordering from Gee Whiz Diner, which is three times the price but always perfect.

Just finished struggling to down my order from Texas Rotisserie's downtown location. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich, sweet potato fries and chicken gumbo; the latter came with a corn muffin. Pulled pork arrived swimming in a non-descript, goopy barbecue sauce with no flavor whatsoever and a separate whole wheat roll (who eats pulled pork on a whole wheat roll, anyway!); the corn muffin tasted of some kind of fried fish (which the restaurant also serves on its menu); and chicken gumbo was so hot that it could have been made with pure hot sauce instead of tomato sauce (and I actually love spicy food!). What a dismal experience for $15 -- never again!

Great Ribs, Great Wings! priced right and so glad they are downtown! ..sides are just O.K. - can't wait to try more items on the menu ! also - open late for downtown,,thank you for that!

I ordered from here for delivery today. The food came very quick and the BBQ beef was in a seperate container which was nice. The sandwich (after I put it together) was very tasty but the Mac and Cheese was lousy. For $12 just the sandwich alone was not worth it.

Finally found a great ribs/chicken place that delivers in SoHo. Great ribs, chicken, roasted vegetables, coleslaw. Thrilled.
