    Major disappointment

The food choices are limited and portions are skimpy. Better to skip this experience. Can't figure out what the glowing reviews were based on..

Go at lunchtime as you will love

I went for lunch and was transported back 20 years to studying in Valencia Spain. The pata negro and onion egg torta were excellent. Kale salad super as well. The fried potatoe were a bit too fried but the chocolate desert was awesome.

    Not "One of the Best"

While there is nothing really wrong with this restaurant, that NY Mag lists it as the 28th BEST restaurant in all of NYC is ridiculous. The limited tapas menu is good but no better than another dozen very good tapas joints in the city. It's enjoyable but not worth running to because "it's the best."

    Great food, poor service

After our waitress went MIA for 25 minutes i had to get up and find her to say that our entrees had never come out. She said that they try to pace courses - yeah, i get it, but not 40 mins apart. Hope they get the service together. Otherwise good.

    Meh.

Probably one of the worst Tapas places I've ever been too. The seating policy is annoying to begin with as even once we came back at our allotted time the table wasn't ready and so we had to wait in the tightly packed bar area. Once we were seated we were treated to over salted food with little flavor. Portions were small and staff were pretentious. This is really a shame as we had a friend in town and this was her only taste of New York and we felt embarrassed we'd taken her.

    Great tapas

This place is awesome, just opened. I loved the food and there is a great wood burning oven. One of my favorites was the swordfish, really light. Surprisingly a lot of the food was a lot lighter than I thought it would be but still very tasty. The portion sizes were not huge, but definitely not small, actually the perfect size for sharing with friends so you can try a few things. Definitely a great place for a chill dinner out with friends.
