Great Idea, but needs work
My friends and I did Happy Hour here this past Friday. We read the review in the post and decided it would be fun to try. The overall idea of the restaurant/bar is fabulous. Trendy, east village with decent food, a good wine selection and nice atmosphere, BUT, there are some major kinks that need to be worked out. The smoke from the open kitchen practically smoked us out of there. We considered leaving, but stayed because more friends were on the way. The waitress was very nice and turned the AC on to help with the smoke, which in turn made the restaurant absolutely FREEZING! So...I would recommend this place if, and when, they have figured out how to manage the restaurant climate. Hopefully soon!
