Went here with a friend on a Wednesday night. They have a great wine selection and have some decent enough happy hour specials. However, I wouldn't go here if you're hungry because it will not fill you up. They have some food specials which are way overpriced for what you get ($10 for 3 rissotto balls??). Also, they have some "entrees" which have no sides. How can you have a steak with no sides? I would only go here for a drink or two after work and then proceed to have a proper dinner elsewhere. Simply not worth the time and effort to make this your main destination.

NY Magazine voted theirs the best donuts and they sure are yummy. For savory, the bruschetta are hard to best. Wine plus food plus energy.... A great wine bar.

You will feel trendy after spending some time here, but you'll still be hungry. Plan to bring a dictionary so you can understand what's on the menu.

The staff here is knowledgeable and very friendly and the atmosphere has lots of charm. You can eat a fantastic appetizer or panino for under $10 and get the perfect glass of wine to go with it! I loved the risotto balls, the meatballs, the bruschetta, the salad -- everything I had, really. People who like quiet may want to dine early. It gets lively later on. But that kind of goes with the territory. This wine bar is a notch above and much bigger than the one in the East Village. Terrific! I'll be back!

The food is tasty, especially the meatball and roast pork sandwiches. The wine list is solid, especially by the glass, and the staff is capable of helping you get the glass of wine you want. The fact that it's larger than the EV branch also makes it much easier to get into without waiting.

I wanted to like this place, especially since I live in the neighborhood. The place is way too loud. You literally have to scream to hear the person sitting right across from you at a table. The stools are quite uncomfortable and the food was just okay. The staffers either seem to be terribly stuffy or just overly peppy. I've been a few times, and probably won't be back.

this is the place to go in Tribeca. I love their knowledgeable friendly staff; they make great suggestions and allow you to taste the wine before choosing. They had a large selection (not many Roses tho), and the price range was varied enough that you don't break the bank, especially at happy hour I've only tried the pork sandwich, which was delicious.
