    The place is now closed!

When this place first opened it was the best food I ever ate in the neighborhood. In the first few years that it has been opened , the menu and staff constantly kept changing and the food became not so good! Now, I see that it is shuttered and it is a shame! The pace is lovely, wonderful rooftop area etc etc! What a shame!

    Avoid

Remember the tastless, microwave-heated meals they used to serve on airplanes? Well, if you're feeling nostalgic, they're still serving them at Terraza Toscana. Overpriced tourist trap.

    Loved it

Terrazza Toscana delivered big time. We enjoyed a huge culinary feast. Gazpacho, scallops, lobster ravioli, and the grand finale of decadent desserts made for a very memorable evening! Our many thanks to the hostess, the waiters and everyone behind the scene who truly made our eve a memorable one Thank you Terrazza Toscana for demanding the very best. We are the grateful recipients

    Great food great value

We had fettucine bolognese for brunch. Ate on the deck in the spring sunshine. The pasta was delicious, very attentive and friendly service. And the best value imaginable - less than a crappy diner breakfast. We will be back soon.

    Great service!

Been to this restaurant 4 times. The last was 11/30/10 with 6 friends. Food has been consistently excellent from salad to dessert. The staff from the maitre'd to the bus boys couldn't have been more gracious, helpful and competent. This is definitely NOT a "tourist trap". It is a warm, friendly family Italian restaurant . I highly recommend it.

    Tourist Trap

Had one awful meal here. Nothing was good...from the papery past to the poor quality olive oil brought with the bread. Now I see an owner/manager lurking outside accosting tourists to try and convince them to come in--the true mark of a tourist trap.

    average food, bad service

This spot was actually decent when it first opened, but they jumped the shark pretty quickly. Food quality is really poor (the dishes we loved in the beginning are pretty bad now) and the service is strangely rude. We're neighborhood people who would like to support our neighborhood restaurants, but Terraza has made it clear that they just care about churning and burning through the tourist/pre-theater crowd. Adding insult to injury is the horribly cheesy guy who stands outside the restaurant trying to get people to eat there. He's got about 3 cheese lines and he re-uses them all day long.
