Good fish, little flexibility for healthier eaters

I wanted to get flounder grilled instead of fried. They said they wouldn't do it. I ended up having to order a less satisfying tilapia. I asked if they could use any healthy oil to cook but they only had soybean (most unhealthy) or a chemical non-stick spray. They weren't nasty about it, just particularly inflexible. They do have brown rice as an option but I feel like I'm paying extra since I have to turn down the seafood that should be in the rice. If they had olive oil and seafood brown rice I'd eat there a couple of times a week. I'm always surprised how most places will not be flexible even when it means losing a 50-100 times/year customer.

Food is Good, but Deliver person can be a bit much.

The grilled Salmon, Grilled Shrimp and Seafood Rice, & Salad is very good and tasty. I order practically 2-3 times a week from here. It's best to place your order early and confirm it went out before the delivery time. I have not had a problem with delivery only the delivery person wants a LARGE tip. Gave him $10 and he wanted more.

    Good but...

Delivery is poor. I waited over 2 hrs. so I cancelled. You're better off walking over to the place

    Food is okay but overpriced.

As per usual with FiDi Lunch spots prepare yourself to pay a premium. The food here is overpriced by $2-4 depending on what you order. That being said it's not poor quality at all. Tasty but there isn't anything particualarly expensive being made here. Fried seafood and simple sides. The seafood rice is very good and maybe the best tasting item they have. I recommend it.

Best Priced/Quality Seafood in Lower Manhattan

Terrace Fish & Chips has taken new management recently and I've noticed in the quality of the food and service and fellow coworkers who flock there for lunch and dinner. Nowhere in Lower Manhattan (FiDi) will you find grilled tilapia with seafood rice and salad for 10-15 dollars. Service is quick and you have a choice of dressings, side orders including pretty good cole slaw and wedges. Definitely RECOMMEND!

    Great food but choose wisely..

LB10. Grilled Salmon with fried shrimp, seafood rice & green salad! Amazing! Place is a hole in the wall and smells like fried fish but the food is good. Stay away from all fried platter!

    Amazing Food Great Price

The best grilled seafood you'll find around low manhattan. Had tilapia, shrimp, arugula mixed salad and cole slaw. Wasn't expensive, well worth giving this place a visit, great service as well.
