Jem of a brasserie in the heart of a jem
Went here for the first time today and I must say I was quite surprised by the quality of the ingredients and short wait to get a table. Though the service was a little slow, it was great to actually take 1.5 hours out of a busy day and enjoy each of the three prix fixe courses while taking in the scenery offered by MoMA's garden without being hurried. Wait to get a table for two was about 10 minutes on a busy Thursday at noon. Soup was excellent, duck was even better and the pecan tart with ice cream and caramel sauce was divine. Not a bad deal at $27 per person. Overall
