atmosphere was fun, but of a group of 5 people, and 120$ bill, 4 margaritas, 1 beer, 1 shot, 3 entrees and an appetizer, the only thing the waitress got correct was the beer. seriously. the waiteress managed to screw up everything in an almost 2 hour period, from us paying for top shelf tequila and her pouring house, to me getting a 3 enchilada sample plate (and getting all of the same enchiladas) to us asking for the tequila on rocks, instead we got it in a shot glass, guac coming on one dish and not being there - you name it - the waitress screwed it up. food was mediocre, margartitas medicocre - prices average. not going back.

1 hour and 15 minutes later our food now appears. i provided a name, a phone number and an address. i received no call about the late delivery. it's preposterous. the best thing that could happen is that this place goes out of business and makes way for something better.

My friends and I came to this restaurant at the recommendation of a friend, and we expected a low-key environment where we could get together for a special event. The waiter who took our order (I think he may have been the owner, too) was absolutely rude in the fact that he barely smiled, and barely answered my questions about the food offered on the menu. Everytime we asked him a question he would sigh, take out his glasses, and look at us with annoyance. My food was dry, had no taste, and I barely touched it. The drinks were too weak. With all the alternative restaurants where I can spend my money, I will never come here again.

I loved the fact that Tequila's moved to 23rd Street, but the delivery food is disappointing. I love the restaurant atmosphere, but tonight I ordered delivery. Chiles Rellenos which I love. I ordered it with beef. It looked great when it came, but the chile was a green pepper, full of seeds, not a chile and undercooked to boot. So disappointing... Won't order from here again.

My neighbor and I like going here for the four dollar frozen margaritas on Mon Tues Weds. The tostadas are pretty good! The staff is all in all friendly, but they all like to stand around and gab to one another. We don't mind! Just as long as they acknowledge us when we want another margarita...LOL!

I have been here three times. The first time was before they got their liquor license. It was quiet - romantic even. But that was just because they didn't serve liquor and the place was virtually empty. The food was excellent and it made me long for Mexico. The second time was during the middle of the week. The service was horrible and I felt like they couldn't have cared less about us. Good food, but we felt like we should have gone somewhere else. Last Friday I went there with my boyfriend and another friend. There was a VERY loud table of 6 in the middle of the main room in addition to a VERY loud table of 4 in the corner. They all yelled at each other the entire time and ruined the whole experience for us. These animals got lost on the way to the frightening Dallas BBQ, who's decibel level rivals that of a rocket at blast-off. I don't understand why people have to yell at each other when they are 13 inches apart. The service was MUCH better this time. A combination of experience, plus the fact that we were the only civilized table in the place. The food was delicious as well and came quickly. If you want a reasonably quiet dinner, avoid this place on a Friday night. The food is excellent and the service is much better now.
