I love going here because the food is so delish but you have to walk a little if you're coming by train, since the closest train station is 8 blocks away. Even though the food is good the service is poor and I can't stress this enough. My friend and I came in a few minutes just after lunch time ended & they could have just put in our lunch order for us but instead one of the ladies went "lunch time is over" in the rudest way. Just called more than 5 times to try to get a delivery order but they never picked up. Oh well it's their loss.

This place has the freshest sushi/sashimi I've had. I'm a big sushi person and eat it often and I must say this is one of the better places. Although it's not a 50% off place like most are in Brooklyn, it's worth the extra money. The ingredients are always fresh and taste good. Highly recommend !

I do love their sushi, but the service is unpleasant, especially when you make an order by phone. It sounds like you owe them something. Probably gonna go to another place just because can't stand their service!

Thumbs up! What a great value. This place is one of my favorite places in the neighborhood. I also frequented one of their other locations in Manhattan and this one is just as good if not better!

Tenzan has the BEST sushi I've ever had! The ingredients are always fresh tasting and the sushi is large in size, not puny like some places. The rice is never dried out either. They don't skimp on, or eliminate, the fish roe as most places do nowadays. Besides the sushi, their other food is also good, the decor is very nice and the people there are friendly and attentive. The only downside is that the place is pretty small so it is often crowded and/or noisy, even on weeknights. I wouldn't even try going there on the weekend.
