One of my favourite places in the neighourhood
The food quality was excellent, the prices were quite low comparing to many other places. The service was good. I will definitely come back

Excelent value, good food!
My wife and I live in and are from "the neighborhood", We've tried every Sushi restaurant with in a 3 mile radius of the area and I can state unequivocally that the new Management of Tengu has improved things dramaticly. There Special combo dinner boxes are a great value. The sushi and maki are prepared wonderfully, so much so that they have a honest to god, Japanese trained sushi chef. There prices overall are very competitive with that of the lesser restaurant of its kind in the area. Table service was attentive without being overbearing, the atmosphere was a bit on the bright side, but I think they are trying to over come the last managements overly dark setting. Overall I give it an 8.5 out of ten.

worst than before +overpriced
bad service + over priced. There are many of sushi restaurants in sunset that are better than "tengu"

LOVE tonkotsu ramen
I've been here twice, once today and once 3 weeks ago. After they reopened, their food is so delicious. i always try a new ramen that they have. Their special rolls and ramen's are to die for. Me and my godsister feel we are very welcomed and they allowed us to bring her little baby puppy. nice service, there was no rushing. I always recommend this place to my friends here to eat. I'll be back there again in a few weeks or maybe tomrrow. Darkwing duck roll + tonkotsu ramen is a winning combination.
