Superb Japanese Cuisine in the Slope!
One of my dearest and oldest friends treated me to a dinner at Ten for my birthday and I hope to go back soon. Ingredients fresh, presentation exquisite and everything was delicious!

no good
Not Exaggerating Next time I'll just take my $50 and throw them in the toilet because that's where this food went. The miso soup was so watered down it tasted more like damp newspapers than food. The sushi was also wet and tasteless. Rolls were falling apart and generally lacking any desirable flavor. We try to order from different spots in the neighborhood and I honestly can't remember ever eating worse sushi.

Very good quality sushi
There are lots of places to eat sushi in this area, but this is the best quality and value. They don't cut corners, the fish is fresh every time I go, and that's often.

shrinking portions.
I have been going to Ten since it opened and always been impressed with the freshness of the ingredients. Recently the portions have significantly decreased in all of the sushi and sashimi combinations. There is no reason I should walk out of there hungry after sharing and appetizer and completing an entree.

Best sushi in the Slope!
I adore this place. The sushi is the best I've found in the Slope (and I've tried a lot of places). The prices of the rolls really don't differ much from the prices of other local sushi places — maybe 50 cents to $1 higher per roll. BUT, these are eight-piece rolls, instead of six, so really you're getting a deal, especially considering the quality. The rest of their menu is also good. Try the mushroom salad or the mushroom soup, and the smoked salmon/asparagus/cream cheese roll. They'll do brown rice instead of white rice if you prefer it. The restaurant itself is cozy, comfortable and not too crowded. Great place for a date.

Best Sushi in Park Slope
Ten is by far the best sushi inthe neighborhood. It's a bit pricey, but their Paradise & 7th Ave rolls are fantastic.
