Great quiet spot
I've been here a few times and each visit is a refreshing break from the crowded and loud bars that are in New York. It's never been too crowded so seating has been easy to come by and the waiter is always friendly.

hard drinks & romantic atmosphere
The cocktails at temple bar are delicious, a bit pricey but just 1 will hit you right. They have a very honorable list of vodka, gin, tequila and scotch from around the world. The food was great although, the second time I went here it was after midnight and they stopped serving around then. The place is very atmospheric. The lighting is dark but, used dramatically and very romantic. You can sometimes catch the place empty but that changes fast as the night progresses. Every time I leave temple bar I am absolutely satisfied.
