disorganized service both takeout and delivery

We had a party of about 20 people for lunch. We had made prior reservations. I asked just for afew bottles of wine. The wine was being overly encouraged by the proprietor and in the end I received a bill for $1,200. Half was for wine (8 bottles at $45/bottle and 2bottles at $28 each) and for water. The bottled water was at the table by each place setting before we arrived ). I felt as though, with regard to the water and wine - I was taken advantage of. I would not go back.

the soup was deliscious and unlike a previous reviewer- when i make it homemade we alwasy put carrots and celery in it with orzo. the lab souvlaki was very tastey--i will order out again

we were craving some Greek food. telio, it's the only greek restaurant in 90's. appetizer: grill octopus it was probably not bad but just extremely tiny. main course was good but not memorable: grilled lamb and braised veal each $20, very little meat and lots of fries and rice respectevly. decor would not be terrible if christmas decorations and cheesy pictures would not hang on every wall. don't think we will be going back there anytime soon.

I happened upon Telio on menu pages and, happy to see another Greek restaurant (finally) ordered take out lunch. The person on the phone was fine and the food arrived in a timely manner. I ordered the Greek salad and avgolemeno soup. The salad was fresh and very good. The soup was not a classic avgolemeno (it had carrots, celery, chicken and orzo in it - instead of the classic broth, egg, lemon, and rice or orzo). It did taste good, though, and was very hot when it got to me. This isn't cheap greek food, but fair prices for uws take out. The salad is large - could feed two and the ingredients seemed fresh and were good quality (real salad, and tomatoes that taste like something). I also ordered baklava, which was good. I will definitely order here again. I don't know how the atmosphere is, because I ordered delivery.

We have eaten here several times. The food has never been bad. We haven't tried the non-Greek items except for the pizza delivery. The service is a little wierd as the wait staff don't have specific sections, so it is not unusual to have three staff members in a row stop to take your order even if you have just given it. The baked fish is always excellent, as is the greek sausage and the baked greek cheese appetizers. Pizza is okay, but probably the about the best in the neighborhood now that Pizza Bolla is gone. We will be back on a regular basis.
