    Good Place

I have been going to Teddy's for a long time bc it has good food and is a nice place. At best, the service is ok. Most of the time the service is hit or miss. Teddy's is a bar and grill and it must be judged as such. Their appetizers, sandwiches are fairly good and consistent. The setting is really nice (tin ceilings, old wood bar, fireplace) and creates a good ambience. Their beer selection is ok as well, but I do feel that it should be colder and they should clean their taps more often. I will definitely go back and I reccomend trying it.

    Got a lot of time?

We used to love Teddy's. The food is pretty good and I love the feel. I've know the place all 37 years of my life so I liked that it turned into a place you can walk over to and grab a good meal. That's why I'm so disappointed. The service was never good to begin with but it has gotten considerably worse. We used to go at least once a week. Then much less. Recently we decided to give it another try. First they said we'd have to sit in the back because there were no tables. I spotted one near the window by the bar. After we were seated that was the end. We waited 20 minutes and not 1 waitress came. What about a simple drink order? There were 2 working the front that night and it was not really crowded (it was a Wed.). They kept coming in our area but would NEVER even glance over. No eye contact whatsoever. The one watiress we've had before and she is consistenly slow and gets most of the order wrong. This, however, was ridiculous. My husband was about to get up to get us drinks from the bar but I refused. We walked out. We've finally learned our lesson.

    Good for wings...not much else

Wings and nachos are really all that's tolerable. The eggs at brunch are usually always swimming in oil, the coffee is weak and the service is dire. Unfortunately we eat here mostly for convenience (when we're too lazy to walk further) but there's really not much to rave about.

    Consistant - great neighborhood place

Teddy's is one of those great neighbor grills that everyone knows. The food is pretty good and there is an excellent brunch menu! I've been there many times and will continue to go.

    Teddy's for brunch

I think this will always be my favorite place for brunch, because it provides a perfect atmosphere and a broad menu selection.

    Average at best

Decent food. cheap brunch. slow service. drinks are mediocre at best. don't eat the mexican style dishes or portabello frites as they are quite poor. try the steak salad.

Solid fare at a good value

One of the best restaurants in the burg. I’ve eaten there many times and have never had anything that was not superb. Very eclectic menu provides for standard American (chicken sandwiches and burgers), Mexican soups and Indian-styled spinach with pine nuts. Last night I had the burger. It was great. 10 ounces of flame grilled perfection. The grilled asparagus appetizer with cheese and pine nuts was also wonderful. This restaurant has my strongest recommendation. However, the service can be touch and go.
