    Fantastic find!

I've only been here twice but both times had an excellent experience. We arrived there one Saturday morning around opening time, the bread still had not been delivered. I found the staff to be extremely courteous and apologetic. They took our orders, and as expected, the bread man walked in five minutes later. We ate the huevos rancheros, a burrito and egg sandwich. All delicious, fresh and wholesome tasting. I'm now addicted to their dirty chai teas and was intent on walking the 20minutes from my house to their location just to get one. The earthquake has sidetracked me but I think I'll likely head out in a bit!

    Disappointed

Ted and Honey has disappointed me too many times. Yes, the food is good - if you can get it. The best times there came when I only had to wait a long time for a breakfast sandwich - half an hour or more. A couple of times, after waiting a long time, they forgot my order and had to start the process again. They offer you a cookie, but that's not why I came in. The final time, they did not have what I'd ordered (I 'd waited quite a while before getting this information). I asked for a refund, and all hell broke loose. I had to wait for the line, which was quite long, to wind down. (The man said something about "I only have one computer'') By the time I got to the front of the line, the man offered me less money than I had paid. This led to an argument. I just wanted my money and to move on. But the man started insulting me and acted as if he was doing me a favor giving me any money back. Too bad. I used to like this place, even with the bad service and attitude.

    Great service

Liked it and puzzled by the negative comment I read; could be a competitor? The setting and atmosphere is an oasis in the western world's busiest city> Had a coffee and egg breakfast sandwich, talked to some other diners and then enjoyed the sun while I read my newspaper in the parkette across the street

    ugh

So unfortunate that such a cute spot, with great location, has consistently rude service. The girls behind the counter always seem so put out to have to pour an iced coffee, which is bitter anyway. I'll take my business elsewhere in the neighborhood.

    Good place, no complaints!

I walked in today for a quick bite while waiting for a friend. tried the caprese mozarella panini and it was good. The atmosphere was really great. If i lived around here I think i would come in more often. dont know what other people are complaining about. The service was fine. They took my order, gave it to me, smiled and wished me a good day. What more could you ask for?

    service

Cannot even tell you how many times they have disappointed me. The food is definitely solid and a nice addition to the neighborhood. With that being said, the waitstaff is absolutely horrible. It's almost insulting how rude they treat you and the amount of times they mess up your order truly shows how little they care about customer service. CONSISTENTLY mindless treatment.

    The Best sandwich in Town

I had the Red-Neck sandwich it was OUT-standing, I have never been a fan of Grits but the way the Chef has assembled this sandwich is to be true to myself, it is beyond compare, cudos to the Chef, and the wait staff are the most friendly I have met in years of my travels, thanks so much for a wonderful experiance.
