Great take-out, not a sit-down place
Great place for take out. Special rolls are delicious, esp. the golden dragon (with mango!). Unique menu at good prices. Would not have a sit-down meal there, though... there's no real restaurant area, and the staff don't seem like they want to wait tables.

Good food, bad service
This restaurant is obviously not meant for sit-down dining, but that doesn't mean that you should be penalized with attitude. Server had frown throughout, perhaps upset that we didn't order drinks. She then proceeded to not bring back change, presuming a preposterously large tip on a small tab. Once I clarified the situation, she rolled her eyes, returned to the counter, and set the check aside for another 15 minutes.

My new favorite!
I ordered from this place for the first time last night - delivery was SUPER fast and packaged perfectly so nothing spilled in the bag ( can be rare). The food was AMAZING - super fresh sushi, great salad, perfect dumplings. I won't order sushi from anywhere else in the neighborhood again.

best japanese takeout in manhattan
this place serves japanese food fresh and healthy at extremely reasonable prices. i order from there pretty much everyday and have always been impressed. i personally judge a japanese food for their tonkatsu (a guilty pleasure of mine) and they serve the best in town.

This is my regular sushi place
I live and work in the area and while there are a ton of Japanese restaurants around here, this is the place i go to get sushi. It's good, it's fresh, it's quick. The staff is nice. I even like the atmosphere. I almost wish I could sit down and dine there but there is only one table -- it's not meant to be more than a takeout place. But for a place to survive solely on take-out for as long as it has -- you know is has to be good and have a loyal following.

Basically only for take-out
I dont understand the reviews that say this place is shabby -- it's been totally renovated and is actually pretty decent inside. However, there is pretty much nowhere to sit --literally one table in the window. So it's basically just a takeout place. Still, the sushi is pretty good, the people are really nice, the atmosphere is pleasant. I pick up take out there on a regular basis.

Good sushi delivery
Good, fresh sushi at reasonable prices. As the place is under renovation, I've only gotten delivery. Once we had to wait an hour, but every other time they've been quick and the sushi is fresh and good. They can be stingy with the nori so that sometimes the rolls fall apart, but the fish quality is very good and prices are great. It's the only sushi in the area that delivers that I like, and I've tried many.
