    Tartine worship

We have eaten dinner here at least 40 times in the past ten years, and if I lived in NYC, that number would be tripled. The best deserts known to the tongue. Inexpensive with the greatest option of all: BYOB. We love Tartine. If I knew I were going to die on a given night, I'd savor my last meal at Tartine.

    My # 1

We love this restaurant; we must've eaten here 45 times in the past ten years. We love the setting, the plants, the funky floor, the prices, the food, the dessert, and best of all BYOB. It kills us to know what a bottle of wine costs--say a ranchoZabaco zin costs 8.00 and a restaurant charges 32.00; it makes us nuts because we must drink wine with dinner. The best time is summer when you don't have to freeze your butt off waiting in line. Advice: for dinner, get theer at 525 and go on in and sit there.I wisjh I lived on West 4th so I could grow fat on their daquoise. Yummy.(Remember: cash only.)

    apple pancakes

Love the brunch here - though only a few options all are great. The apple pancake is really something. There is always a wait, but it is worth it. The eggs benedict and imletes are great, as are the homefries - I can't wait to go back.

    Bring a date

I brought a friend here for his birthday dinner; he loved it. This is definitely the perfect place to bring a date for the first time, because the atmosphere is amazingly great--a perfect conversation place. But, don't forget to bring a bottle.

    well worth it

I've eaten here twice and plan to go back. Reasonable prices and byob! I wouldn't suggest going with a large group. I did it once with 11 people and though we were accommodated, it wasn't the most compfortable setting. Great place for parties of 6 or less. Get there early to avoid waiting for a table and don't expect privacy- it's a tiny restaurant. Food was good and menu had a variety of choices.

    Always great.

My boyfriend and I love this place. We've been eating there for more than 4 years now, and have never been dissapointed. Every dish is a delight in taste and in presentation. Arrive early and be prepared to wait. It's well woth it.
