Great place but new staff, really?
This is a great place to eat, no problems with the food. It's just that the new staff is well....lacking. Several times i've called to place an order only to be hung up on. I wish the little guy with glasses would go back to manning the phone, much better service with him. Still best tacos around though...so eat up!

Best Authentic Mex in the City
This is the Best, most AUTHENTIC Mexican in the city..i'm so lucky i live in the neighborhood. I'm from Mexico and this is the closest I've come to a home cooked meal since I've moved here. Everything is terrific!

Try these dishes...
This is def one of my fav Mexican restaurants in the area. Don't come here for tacos/burritos/enchiladas, there's already tons of trucks and places that specialize in those items. I made that mistake the first time, those items are just ok here. Come here for the "Authentic Regional Dishes," where this place really shines IMO. Try the... -Mole Verde w. Chicken/Beef/Pork in Green Sauce -Pipian -Chile Ajo -Chuletas de puerco in Green Sauce *my fav dish I usually disregard the watered down "salsa" that comes with the chips & salsa and just dip it with the green sauce that comes with my entree. Did I mention the green sauce enough? Service is ok, delivery takes forever, place looks like one of those cheap chinese tex-mex spots. But if you're feeling brave enough to try some dishes you can't get at chipotle or taco bell, you might be surprised.

I love Tacqueria, a lot.
It's certainly the best mexican food I've had in NY, or anywhere on the east coast for that matter. So the interior is sort of grungy, but the food is solid--beats chipotle any day. Regional specialties like chile en nogada, enchiladas mole, etc are their strengths, but the quesadillas, tacos, and tortas (especially tortas) are unimpeachable and super cheap. Eat in for best results, delivery doesn't always taste as good. They aso have great horchata!

Not recommended
We thought we'd try this place out based on the reviews. But they completely messed up our order, took forever to deliver, and the food was disappointing Mexican- tasteless and overpriced! Stay away!

Disappointed with tasteless food
Just had an enchilada and some guacamole - both pretty bad. Guacamole was completely tasteless and chicken had nerve endings / fat pieces... not prime cuts. Not going to order again...

Best Mexican Food In The Universe
I love it here it is the best food i have ever tasted . If you want to try something different go to Taqueria Y Fonda La Mexicana. It is AN ORIGINAL restraunt do u hear any restauraunts called Taqueria Y fonda La Mexicana...yeah thought so . so u should really try the chicken plate that is the best.
