good food but service is poor
I have to give it to the cooks, the food is awesome, ask for sauce on the side if you dont like spicy sauce. However the service is hirrible, waiter forgoy our order. when he brought it, it was cold. only onr waiter for the whole restaurant. we werr so upset that he forgot our order. Amazing such poor service!

Best tacos in LES
There are a couple of reasonable Mexican restaurants in the LES, but this is by far the best when you factor quality and pricing. I have never eaten in the restaurant but I have been in there to pick up food and it has a interesting West Coast vibe. Can't speak for the service in there but everyone I have encountered has been friendly and they are good about having any orders for pickup ready when you come in the store. If you want good cheap tacos, then you should order from here

I dont want to eat anywhere else!
My Team has been talking about this place for awhile. We played hooky from work on Sat and went for brunch. Now i cant eat Mexican anywhere else. The margaritas where amazing. The carnitas are God like. and the guac is by far the best i have ever had. Thank the Lord i live close by. I loved the music too. It was a mix of old 70's and T.V. theme songs. They def have a new regular.

Seriously - go!
The food was authentic and obviously lovingly prepared. The service was great - super friendly and fast! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates REAL Mexican food. The cactus taco was the best I have ever had! So go, go, go - we want this amazing little gem to be around for a long time!

Great tacos but really need to deliver
I feel every Manhattan restaurant should deliver. We picked up food from there the other day and it was the best tacos I have had in New York. The guy behind the counter was a bit clueless but the food made up for it. I called today to place a delivery order after thinking about it all day and they only do pick up. What a dissappointment.

best taco in NY
This place totally rocks. Great margaritas and they only do one flavor. The real one. Great heavy metal 80's/mexico oaxacan decor. But the real reason is the tacos. Wow. Awesome fish tacos and pork tacos and lamb. They're all good. So glad to have it in LES!

Finally! An authentic, tasty, fun Mexican joint in the LES!
I randomly popped into this place for dinner last Friday night with my husband and was happy to finally find a place that serves real, yummy Mexican food. The margaritas were perfectly strong and tasty and went well with my mushroom torta. I also tried the chile rellenos and my husband had the enchiladas. Everything was AWESOME. I can't wait to come back with my Mexican mother-in-law to have her try the place!
