the food and service sux
my friend bonnie absolutely loves this place and recommended me to go, but honestly it was the worst experience ive encountered in a very long time the food and service were horondous, never again! they think they are so upscale that they can have a poor attitude and get away with it, very snotty, trying to hard to play up to the trendy trendness, the food sucked .... couldnt believe it

Amazing
Food is amazing! The sea bass was the best I've ever had. Drinks and desert were great. Quite expensive but worth it. Our waitress was great and so was the host. A member of our party was late and he let us wait 30 minutes for her. Decor is awesome. I can't wait to go back.

Success goes to head
I visited Tao based on great reviews that I had heard. Two poblems withthis place. First, the cocktails are very expensive and with little or no alcohol. Second, one misplaces things which one nevr finds again. You will be surprised to find the missing list- just ask to see the lost and found list. People at the entrance seem to beleive they hav acheived nirvana- very rude and unhelpful.

Tao, NYC
Tao in NYC is a wonderful restaurant - perfect for cutting deals and noshing in style. I would recommend this to any business professional who is tired of the traditional stuff business meeing. Tao is very hip. The restaurant is very loud, so be prepared to feel like you are clubbing instead of pitching -- all-in-all, it is a great experience. Be sure to make a reservation! And don't check your coat -- the lines are too long.
