Loved the food. Didn't have one bad dish and considering the awesome atmosphere, well worth the price. Perfect spot for a fun night out with friends when you want to eat well!

Amazing food but shame about the 1.5 hr delay to our table booking... Yes 1.5hrs late at sea ting us!!,! Booked for 8.15 and seated at 9.45 .... Food was brilliant though but at that time of night we were 3 /4 cocktails in before eating so wore off the need / desire for food... Quite loud but ambience was generally good.. Received apology free drink and desert but a hell of a wait for a meal for the 6 of us :(

Don't be fooled in thinking that just because it costs a lot it is an entree. Portions are small and over priced. Eat before you go. I will not be going again and I certainly don't recommend the restaurant.

I went to TAO on a Saturday night with 12 of my girlfriends. The food was great. I was worried because I thought the seating being so close would be disruptive but it wasn't. My only complaints is the cost. Now I have been in the city my entire life and never I have I come across such foolishness as I encountered this night. Please take into account that our bill was $730 and we knew and accepted this. Our reason for going was to celebrate a friends birthday. Another friend brought a cake from a really good bakery she wanted the party to share. The restaurant tried to charge us $7.50 a plate to allow us to eat the cake. This was on top of the $730 we already spent. That was an extra $100. I found that to be quite rude especially considering the amount of money we spent in the restaurant. We declined and went to a lounge where our $350 bill allowed us to eat put cake free of charge!

I have gone a few times and i just love the food. best place and atmosphere, i would go.

The food at tao is terrible! its awful, service is bad, everything is awful. The environment is cool. Go for drinks not the food.

So this is the story. I went there on a Thursday night with a group of 8 people. We had made a reservation a week in advance for 8:30pm. We got there on time and were told that the wait for our table will be 15 minutes. Then it became 30 minutes. Then before we knew it, an hour had gone by and we still hadnt been seated. At this point I was angry and went up to the front desk and told them how rude they are and that they cant treat their customers like this...etc. etc. Then all of a sudden, we were seated. I wish I hadnt wait so long to complain, but all I know is that I will never go back there again and do not recommend them to anyone. Their food was decent, nothing special, not worth the wait.
