Noodles
Tang's Garden has the widest choice of noodles and ways to prepare them than any restaurant outside of China town. I love their Shang Hai noodles in vegetable Shang Hai noodle soup. I also love their lobster or fresh fish dishes.

Noodles a plenty, fish and vegies fresh
I often eat here for good reason: the food's very good. They have pleny of noodle types and methods of cooking. I highly recommend their lobster or fish dishes. Besides their great sources, they offer many simple dishes as well which I personally prefer.

Ugh!
The previous reviews for this restaurant reference Tang Tang. Yes, that was a great neighborhood restaurant but the health dept shut them down. They reopened as Tang's Garden This restaurant is NOT Tang Tang as I experienced yesterday on a pity run - giving them one last chance. Don't be fooled by the identical menus! This is NOT the same place. The restaurant was empty at 8:30 pm. Moo Shu Veg is an easy test and it was a great dish of Tang Tang. It was tasteless here - just lots of oil. The meats were greasy. I have found it to be worthless to complain in a small chinese restaurant like this so I guess they will slowly die from lack of business.

Tang Tang...I MISS YOU!
I am just feeling sad tonight. I moved to Florida and no longer get to call Tang Tang to order chicken with broccoli, a scallion pancake (with hoision sauce added on the side) and cold sesame noodles. I am so jealous of all your New Yorkers! Florida Chinese "food" is HORRIBLE. NEVER LEAVE NYC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if the job is good, and you are pregnant!

Yum
Best Chinese food I've had in a long time - authentic Szechuan. Cold sesame noodles a must! Great value and quick delivery. Tang Tang is the best!

Food for your money
Just ordered from there 4-16-08, Portions are generous, be have them repeat the order back to you. It took two deliveries to get the order right but the value is very good. Lots of food for your money for the Upper East Side

Don't hate
Miles away from chinatown, this is a pretty good substitute for some real mott street cuisine. The hunan chicken is delicious, as are the cold noodles with sesame (they make a great lunch if you add chicken). Skip the dumplings... ew... but order the hot and sour soup, it has huge chunks of tofu and pork.
