    Great Service

The food was delicious and the service was great. I would recommend the Shrimp and Snow Pea Leaf entree and the Hot and Spicy Chicken. I would definitely go there again.

Experience Chinese Food at its best

This location gives you a taste of what traditional, authentic Chinese food is. This location illuminates the tradition of China. The waiter, owner or bus boy all give the essence of true respect and delight. The food is spectacular and just delicious. The ingredients are to savor and burst with flavor. This is my favorite restaurant.

Best Chinese food you can get anywhere!

The minute I walked into Tang Pavilion, I was greeted by the eager- to- please staff. The food is spectacular and most unique. Besides the service and food, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. For anyone who wants to try amazing chinese dishes, Tang Pavilion is the way to go and unlike most upper-class restaurants the price is very reasonable.

    Great food

This place has authentic Chinese - if you know what that is. Steer clear from American-Chinese stuff - this is not the place for that. Try Waterlilibud stir fry, Roast Pork (with skin and fat) in an open bun, and steamed Sea Bass. Almost like being back in Asia.

    A disappointment...flavorless food

Based on the reviews here, I decided to try this place. Ordered the chicken w/ broccoli (that was merely average), the eggplant in garlic sauce (sickly sweet sauce despite requesting EXTRA SPICY...no kick AT ALL). The shrimp dumplings in hot sauce. BLAND. ARG so frustrating to specify that you want something revved up and have the instruction completely ignored.

    A cut above

Upscale chinese cuisine without upscale prices. Wait staff is super friendly, restaurant is nicely decorated, and the food is much tastier than many of the higher-priced, higher-scale chinese restaurants in Manhattan. Have eaten here/gotten food delivered dozens of times over the past 10 years, and have never been disappointed.

    Gracious Service, Good Food

After a busy day taking in the sights of New York, I brought my family to the Tang Pavilion. We were attracted by the restaurant's warm and inviting setting. Friendly, attentive service and delicately, tasty dishes at a reasonable price made this an enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
