authentic
i'm from taiwan and my friends and i think that this is one of the most authentic restaurants in town, plus since i live in midtown i prefer to come here or get delivery instead of going all the way down to chinatown.

Best Chicken Dumplings Anywhere
I've been in NYC for 2 years, and I'm hard pressed to find a better fried chicken dumpling on the East Side. The steamed chicken and mixed vegetables is also excellent. Definitely not the cheapest, but worth it.

Poor Food Quick Delivery
The food was not good. The delivery was unbelievably fast. I'd sacrifice a longer delivery time for better food.

Solo Traveler seeking in hotel delivery
After a long day of meetings, I was hungry, didn't feel like eating in a restaurant, but want a decent meal = meat, vegetables and tasty. And Tang's delivered on all three. The order was deliverd quickly, nicely packaged and tasty. I ordered chicken with young ginger - light, flavorful and crisp fresh vegetables. I would surely order from Tang's on my next trip to the city!

Excellent
Everything that I tried so far was excellent. Great presentation and attitude. I have yet to try another Chinese Restaurant that beats this one in the area. You will not be disappointed. Great for client luncheon.

Not Very Good!
Very disappointing. Food was bland and chicken was chewy. I had heard great things about the soup dumplings, but when they came out there was almost no soup inside. All I got in response when i told the waiter was a shoulder shrug! The food was okay but not worth going back for.
