Subpar Indian food on the UWS
The shrimp was obviously cooked frozen with no flavor and the chicken was cold. Very disappointed.

Real North Indian Chef!
Tandori is a North Indian style and the chef here is an expert. Prices are good, portions big, service friendly and decor an afterthought. Excellent vegetarian fare as well - Chana masala, Sag paneer. I keep going back.

Very good food and 'tude
Tandoori is a stand-out Indian Restaurant on the UWS I've had most of the menu and it's all very good to excellent. The vegetarian dishes, particularly their aloo ghobi and chana saag, are superb. To top it off, the staff are warm and attentive. Love this place.

Dry Aloo Gohbi
I am a huge fan of Indian food. I just started a new job on the uws, and was hungry after work, and knew it would take me an hour to get home so I decided to try out a new Indian place. The majority of reviews for this place were great. I walked in and the atmosphere was great, very cozy and inviting. The service was good, very friendly.y water was Luke warm, no ice, which was unfortunate. I almost ordered the palak paneer, but I had just had that the week before. I hadn't had Aloo Gohbi in awhile so I was excited. Now by no means do I want my food drowning in sauce but it was the driest Aloo Gohbi I've ever had. The cauliflower was still pretty good but everything else was so dry it tasted dull. And it was definitely a little overpriced. I would give it another try, but I think next time I'll try their Palak Paneer!

Amazing restaurant, try the palak paneer
At Tandoori, they really know how to give a special touch to every dish. The palak paneer was the best i've ever tried, and the nan bread is so good that we just kept ordering more and more of it during the meal. They have really fresh, delicious meat, and the staff smiles at you all the time. It's a very personal, intimate, experience. Great place for a date, very romantic
