Excellent value
I live near Wall Street and this is one restaurant whose food I crave. The taste is excellent and the price is even better. They deliver pretty quickly. The only complaint I have is that their food is a bit oily. But very satisfying. Recommended with a good movie from Netflix.

Best Damn Indian Food...Period
This food is amazing. Ordered takeout twice...incredible both times. Authentic, flavorful, and outstanding. Two parathas (one aloo), Channa Masala, Shrimp Masala and Veggie Biryani...enough food for ten. The best we have we ever eaten, and all this for only $30. If you like Indian, you haven't had the city;s best until you try Tandoor Palace.

Real Indian
My mother's food also does not taste this good. It's really fantastic and our family thought that my mother was the best cook in India. Try the masala and palak paneer, naan....I must order now.

Not recommended
I would not recommend this place for Indian food. The shop is small, unclean, and greasy looking inside and just looking at the inside makes me lose my appetite. The food is another story....they serve food overly fried food loaded with oil. Even foods that do not need oil have oil floating in it. The food is not spiced authentically.....its bland...too oily...costs too much for the portion.

Another Fulton miss
I try and stay away from the financial district on weekends, but gave into an Indian craving. The service was very good, but the food did a number on my stomach and taste buds.

Don't be scared away by its location...
Go up the stairs and check it out. This is a great lunch spot - the food always seems very fresh (i love samosa chat and mango lassi). Clean but not new dining area - very basic and no-frills. The people who work there are amazingly friendly too.

Okay food
I was very disappointed by the food. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and the sauce was so watered down. Don't get me wrong, the bread was good and the rice too. But the entree was just disappointing.
