Take Away Order
Very friendly staff and excellent food. I ventured into this tiny spot to pick up lunch for a friend who has been ill. The counter person was so kind as to make sure that the curry dishes I ordered for my friend were made mild. I will certainly return to this tiny treasure of a spot.

Best Indian Food in the Financial District
Not sure what is up with some of these bad reviews. I just had a great Lamb Korma here. My office ordered lunch and everyone was very happy with what they received. Unlike the other Diwan Kaas establishments, this place's korma is slightly spicy and very tasty with lots of meat. The lunchtime value is great too. Most curry dishes with rice and naan hover around 10-12, which is a great value for all the food. It's a great place to visit during the work week! I'll definitely be eating here again.

Excellent food
Moved to downtown, found this authentic Indian taste, Food quality is good, Best Chicken Tikka Masala, Delivery is fast. Will Recommend.

Disappointing Indian food!
The food here is oily and watery and lacks the flavors of good indian. I ordered navratan korma for delivery and clearly got something else. Instead i got some overcooked frozen veggies (carrots, peas, and broccoli- didn't know broccoli is in korma??) without fruits, nuts, or cheese (paneer) in the sauce, or even the cream! Isn't cream the main ingredient??? It tasted like bad curry and lacked flavor and body. It was a watery mess that I couldn't get past one bite. Even the tamarind sauce was watery! I also ordered saag paneer that looked unappetizing

bad choice
we went there on thanksgiving because all other restaurants were closed and we had just come from a trip. the service was bad. food was bad. not cooked. for navratan korma, he jsut served us aloo mutter. and for biryani he mixed the same sabji with cooked rice. so we got no value for our money. will never go there again

Delicious, though what you see is what you get...
Delicious vegetarian options that will make any fan of traditional indian food feel right at home. Portions are sizable, and since a simple sandwich in FiDi will run you $8-9, the $7 deal for two vegetarian options and rice is a decent value. Definitely recommend it.

Best Delivery Downtown
We order from Tandoor Palace quite often and are always happy! They deliver fast and the food is great! We have tried other Indian places around and keep coming back to our favorite. The paneer makani is pretty amazing! I'm a loyal customer!
