can't find a reason to go back
Service was so unpleasant and the wait time for drinks and food was so long can't think of a reason to return. The food was average not good enough to warrant an hour and a half wait. We had tables reserved so they weren't surprised by the crowd and still they were under staffed. Poorly managed to say the least.

Come here if you have time to waste
Our party of 5 arrived at 7:45 for our 8pm reservation. We sat for 25 min to receive menus(after another party finished with them)...another 40 min for drinks, another 30 min for appetizers and another 20 min for entrees. The waitress (only 1 working) informed us that she was bringing out the food as it became ready..meaning there was 1 person at our table who did not receive her mean and who was eating off another plate because she was so hungry!. Total bill $209.00 . We just did not want to take a chance on dessert. This place is good if you have a long, tedious meeting, and need somewhere nurse drinks and talk.If you are looking for good food and efficient service, go somewhere else. The only reason we can think for the delay for food is that they want you to order their overly expensive drinks while you wait and wait and wait for food.

Great takeout
Foods pretty good. I've ordered jerk wings (extremely hot, but its exactly like jerk should taste), jerk salad - good, but meat tasted had that previously frozen taste, chicken sandwich - awesome

yummy food,, AWESOME drinks
Tamboril just got their liquor license and they are making good use of it! We tried the tamarind & rum drink and it was terrific it also goes with everything on the menu. Mango mojito was good too. Salad had too much dressing & wasn't so good, but chimichurri flank steak was delicious and tofu ranchero is a very good vegan dish. Carrot cake was very good too, and the veggie dumplings are the best we've ever had.

Great Place for Groups or couples
I have been here twice and both times have been great in the past few months. I love the atmosphere and the food is great. Get the coconut flan for dessert it is the best! Also bring you own bottle, they serve it to you in glasses free of charge. Great place and I can't wait to go back.

Looks Great
the place is quite nicely decorated, and they get an E for effort. Everyone is friendly, and accommodating. The saltfish was tasty, as was the omelet, but the seasonings are sometimes a little off - the bacalaitos were disappointing and the turkey burger over- seasoned- more like meatloaf, but they're new and will hopefully work out the kinks.

Latin Flavor in Clinton Hill Brooklyn
What a great place to take someone on a date or just have a nice meal at a reasonable price. I had the fish cakes and let me tell you they were great and the sauce delicious. I have also tried the salmon and I thought I was somewhere in the Caribbean. The Caribbean flavors blend nicely. The staff is great. They are very friendly and courteous. Ed the owner gives the VIP treatment every time. The rums scented shrimp are killer. I can not wait for them to get the liquor license
