My wife (who is Punjabi) and I tried this place and we were greatly disappointed. The food was americanized Indian food. Lacking spice and flavor. Overpriced also. Skip it and go elsewhere.

I have had many wonderful meals at Tamarind. The food cannot be beat!

I finally convinced my boyfriend to try indian food. He has always been skeptic for some reason. I was told that tamarind was the place to go for some of the best indian and I must say... it was much better than I imagined. I loved it--he loved it--everybody around us were loving it! I will definitely be going back on a regular basis. A first glance at the menu, it may seem a bit expensive but I would be willing to pay the prices x2. It's well worth it!

The food is amazing (the lamb chops are a MUST), the wine list extensive, the wait staff like family and the atmosphere welcoming. Not enough good things to say about Tamarind.

I thought that the place was just really nice and classy, the food was not the best indian food that Ive ever had but it was definitely good and tasty. They had very good service and I liked how you could see the kitchen from the restaurant but in a classy way. It is very expensive for the amount of food you get though.

Just got back from lunch at Tamarind and it was excellent. we decided to eat in tea room which was small and cute. we split a tasty vegetable samosa and the malai tikka wrap. I definitely will go back.
