This place is dreadful. Fatty steaks, stale bread, awful service. Stay away!

The food here is hit or miss, sometimes decent and sometimes not very good quality. Theyve done a good job of making some inexpensive dishes and meal options. The service is consistently poor, they seem to hire people with zero restaurant service experience. Some of the girls there are not very polite and are clueless on how to serve their customers. Bottom line the food must get more consistent and the service must actually become respectable.

what a treasure to find a place like talia's! we went here because we were in the mood for a kosher steak and we honestly don't eat out too often, so we decided to splurge. we had a prime rib steak and a ribeye steak (since we only get the opportunity to eat so nicely once in awhile!:) and both were fantastic. the atmosphere was very pleasant and laid back and we felt very comfortable just having an absorbing conversation with the chill background. we were told there is also live music but it is on hiatus so we will soon be coming back for that. our server was a nice young woman who was very friendly and seemed to honestly care about how we were enjoying our experience. we appreciated her smile and demeanor. we had a lovely dessert and walked out with full stomachs, smiles on our faces, and a strong desire to return the next opportunity we have to treat ourselves!

Went in on a Sunday night, it was not busy with plenty of open seats. Service was very poor and our pasta was watery and our steak was meant to be "med-rare" and was half raw. The manager did take responsibility, however, we will not be returning. Good luck.

this place is very strange. on a saturday, it was empty, and had horrific live music. i ordered a stoli-o on the rocks, and i was given a regular stoli, that was watered down. i told the waiter i ordered stoli-o, and she said this is all we have. food quality is decent, the service was pretty poor, there were some weird birthday dinners going on... all in all a very strange place.

Talia’s steakhouse is located only two blocks away from my workplace, and I had no idea it even existed! One day I stopped by during my lunch hour and saw they are open for lunch, and have a special “combo” meal with a three course prix fix. When I heard they offer the same style for dinner, I made sure to return for both options. I was thrilled with my experience – the food was delicious, and even better was the perk of being able to mix and match combinations of soups and salads with entrees. I plan on coming again with friends and to make meals at Talia’s part of my weekly menu.

The restaurant has a beautiful décor and ambiance with an option of indoor and outdoor seating. The food was absolutely amazing - from the appetizers, to the main course, right down to the dessert. I had the ribeye steak, which was cooked as perfect as I’d hoped for. The staff was so respectful, attentive, and accommodating, and we were treated very well. I will most definitely return and I will absolutely recommend this restaurant to others. I've been to all the great steak houses in the city and will add this one to the top of my list. Good service, great food, and priced right-after all, this is NYC isnt it!
