Talia's Steakhouse & Bar

We used a bloomspot deal for $150 worth of food and drink. The appetizer tasted like frozen food you microwave. For the main course i got the rib eye steak, it was the worst piece of meat i have ever tasted. It tasted like a cheap five dollar piece of meat. it was chewy and very fatty. They told me that is the most popular steak so i don't understand how they are still in business. This was our first experience there and i would never go back and will definitely not recommend it to anyone I know.

We had a bloomspot deal of $75 for 3 courses, appetizer, steak, dessert, plus a bottle of wine for 2 people. Not the regular menu. The claim was that it was a $150 value. A fair valuation would have been about $75. Actually, it was diner quality. Barely. The food was bland. The wine was sour. The dessert was misnamed. A "Chocolate Souffle" was actually an ok molten chocolate cake. We will not be going back at any price. Even free.

My friend lives on the uws, and we came to Talia’s after I spent Shabbat with her. It was awesome to enjoy a kosher 10oz burger, cheese and fries at 2am on a motzei Shabbat! A bunch of our friends met up with us to join us, and we had a really good time. I was very impressed that Talia’s makes such an effort to cater to singles like myself of new york. If you want to have a good time and good food, stop in Talia’s!

My friends and I had the best time when we ate at Talia's! We started off having drinks at the bar to loosen up after a long day at the office, and then moved to a table for some wings and a combo platter. We then ordered one of each steak available: Two prime ribs, a ribeye, filet mignon and a butchers cut. It was cool to sample a variety of steaks - sort of like a wine tasting....All the steaks were terrific. We hardly had room for dessert but could not resist! There was live music as it was thursday night live, and the singer rocked! We were extremely satisfied with our experience and give this restaurant five stars for the food, and the lively and fun bar/restaurant atmosphere. Service could be faster but it was pretty full that night. Rock on Talia's!

My new favorite place on the upper west side. Where else can you find such a combination – beef and bean soup for appetizer; tasty ribeye steak with steamed spinach for entrée; and a chocolate soufflé for dessert. You’ll say I’m crazy, but why not satisfy our need for some great food once in a while…

Yesterday, we visited this place we hadn’t been to Talia’s. A cozy restaurant on the upper west side. It was marvelous, my wife loved it. And me.I’m pretty sure I dreamt about that prime rib steak last night ;)
