    Family Friendly Kosher Restaurant

A family-friendly kosher restaurant! The waitress was very patient with my five sons and brought them their food earlier, as I requested. The menu has enough options to satisfy their pickiness. My husband and I also enjoyed our meals of Lamb Tagine and Duck Breast. The kids couldn’t get enough of the pita and pesto-oil, which comes with the meal, and still managed to save enough room for chocolate dome cake desserts.

    Date Night

My girlfriend and I were in town and decided to pop into Talia's as it was the first kosher place we passed by. Their shnitzel was "fo shizzle" as the kids these days like to say (that means it was excellent, fyi). The girlfriend had the BBQ ribs (yes, a girl with no qualms of getting her hands or face messy with ribs... I'm in love) and she said it was one of the best BBQ sauces she's tasted. Dipped some of my shnitzel in there, because that's how I roll, and it was really tasty. Definitely will be back there when I'm in town again.

    why would anyone go here?

The food is subpar. The service is poor. people are squished together like sardines. What a waste of money.

    Great Dining Experience

I came with a group of 8 to Talia’s Steakhouse before an evening out in New York City. We couldn’t have made a better choice. We called in advance and reserved a table for 9:00 and upon arrival were immediately seated. The Live Music (Jazz Set) really set the mood for a relaxing evening. Talia’s staff attended to us immediately and was more than helpful in explaining the menu options. I ordered the Filet Mignon and it was grilled to perfection. The food was delicious and the portions were large and appealing! Overall, I highly recommend Talia’s.

    Don't eat here!

Would rather eat at a homeless shelter. Food is possibly the poorest quality I've ever eaten. Manager hovers around tuning the lights down and music up! All in all an unpleasant experience!

    meals made to order

What I love most about Talia's is their special prepaid meals they have for every Shabbat and holidays. My family and I attended their Thanksgiving meal recently and we were impressed once again by everything, from the service to the food, even with the packed house. It's difficult planning something as festive as a Thanksgiving meal, but they really outdid themselves and it seemed everyone there was having a great time and enjoying their food. I feel lucky to live just a few blocks away from Talia's, as I know whenever I'll need a meal for any occasion, they'll be there for me.

    "One of a Kind" steakhouse

I don't like steak at all, but I always find something delicious for myself to order at Talia's. I love the ribs, I love the burgers, I love the chicken and duck. I think this is a great kosher restaurant hands down, with a really cool middle eastern/american flair, hard to place in such a boxlike category as 'kosher steakhouse' - I would rename it is in a category all it's own, although none exists as Talia's is one - of a kind! I sometimes find food or water refill service slow, but waitstaff is always super friendly and overall very customer service oriented which always makes my dining a better experiene. And Talia's always has extra services going on - shabbat meals, holiday meals, so many other deals. Once again, I emphasize the words "one of a kind", with my strong recommendation for all kosher diners to try it for yourself.
