Amazing Getaway From The Average Place

I scheduled a dinner for 45 of my friends and WOW...The food was delicious. The price made a small dent in my check book, but it was well worth it. WHY? BECAUSE the place not only provides wonderful service and delicious food, but an amazing atmosphere. The lights are dimmed, candles are lit, music is playing and occasionally they'll have an in house band. It's a great place to go to relax, get away and have a great time. Not to mention the fact that they have an amazing selection at their bar. Overall, if you're willing to pay a little more than the average price you'll find that it was well worth it...B'tei Avon!

Average / below average, overpriced food

Less than fresh meat, gamey sweetbreads, numerous mistakes in the order, spacey service, and prices that far exceed the quality of what you're getting and the atmosphere basically leave nothing at all to recommend, here. There are many other, far better kosher restaurants in the city.

    Delicious Bison Brisket

My boyfriend and I spent a great evening at Talia's last week. We tried - for the first time in our life - the Bison Brisket. It was tendered and with a very special tasty sauce - Delicious! We received an attentive, professional service. The ambience is perfect for romantic evening. It was one of my best eating experiences.

    Fabulous!

Talia's Steakhouse serves fantastic food for reasonable prices, and the desserts are exceptional. The service is wondefull, the servers are extremely well versed in the menu. The servers are also especially attractive.

    Highly Recommended!

It's been a while since my last visit to Talia's Steakhouse. My impression is that this restaurant has a great quality of food and service. My wife and I had a great dining experience. My wife had the Thai beef salad and I had the hickory grilled salmon - top quality and extremely tasty. For our entrees, we tried the bison brisket and the red snapper - delicious. I would buy a gift certificate to my son's birthday and I am certain that he will enjoy a fabulous dinner.

Avg food quality with subpar service

I'm not a regular kosher food eater, but for the menu prices you get average food (Prime Rib for Two was not very good) with subpar service. The atmosphere is not friendly, the beer list limited. I do not recommend.

    Wow! Great Bison Burger

I am a regular at Talia's Steakhouse because I live around the block and Talia's is one of my favorite restaurants. Recently, Talia created an inexpensive Special Lunch. Yesterday at lunchtime, for the first time in my life, I ate a 9 oz. Bison Burger. It was extremely delicious, tender & cooked to perfection. I chose the french fries and the Beer came with a free Draft refill! I spent $16 and left very full and satisfied.
