Great neighborhood spot
Negative reviews? Don't know why..i live down the block and come here every day...friendly staff..good fresh food,,,great bagels...what else can you want? coffee is good,,,love a whole wheat everything with nova and scallion cream cheese,,fresh,good and friendly....come on in

Not recommended
The bagels taste like they bought them from a grocery store, the service is subpar and the price is absurd. I order an everything bagel with eggwhite egg salad and lettuce, tomatoes and onions and it came out to $6.45. The bagels are so thin and small when I took a bite the whole sandwich fell apart. I would never ever go here or recommend anyone do.

They don't pay attention
The employees in this place do not pay attention to any of your requests. Even if you have a food allergy and specifically ask them to make sure there are no nuts or seeds, you may still have an allergic reaction (as I did). They asked 4 times what I wanted to order and still got it wrong. The quality of the food is great, but $10 for a bagel with meat is way overpriced. They should care more about food allergies and less about being Kosher.

Good food/poor staff
Food is very good. Worth trying if you don't mind being treated with total disrespect and don't mind being cheated. One of my favorite things there is when the yell "next" they look away and you have no idea who said it or who they are talking to. They love to give you more than you order (on purpose) and when you comment they get annoyed. However, because of location and food quality they do business.

Rock hard bagels
I ordered breakfast delivery from here and when it arrived, instead of the whole wheat everything bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese, sliced tomatoes and onions (yum) that I was looking forward to, I got a rock hard burnt bagel with LOX, runny tomatoes and lots of onions... Even if they had gotten the cream cheese part right, it would still be inedible. No thanks.

Best bagels in town
I have been going to this place for over five years! The owner by the way is extremely nice. The bagels are really good.

Pleased
Seeing the mixed reviews on here, I was a bit worried. I was very happy with my Everything bagel. I tried half Olive Cheese and half Scallion Cheese. The Olive Cheese was great...I'll skip the Scallion spread, next time. For those who are turned off by the no credit cards, they now have an ATM inside (toward the back, near the restrooms).
