Love this place
My husband and I have been coming to New York for years......found this place and make sure we eat there at least 2 times every trip. I love the Elephant Bean Salad. I highly recommend this place!

Highly recommended
We ordered the Meze Platter, Shepherds salad, Mussaka and lamb adana. All were wonderfully prepared and very tasty. Atmosphere was very pleasant and able to converse without all the noise. Will go again.

Best lahmacun!
I stop in just for the lahmacun, which is like a very thin flatbread pizza with minced lamb on top. Yummy!! Haven't found another spot in nyc that does it as well! The staff is friendly too! I like the decor, it's like taking a quick trip to Istanbul.

The only quibbles are

Change for the Worse
I am among the customers displeased with the changes to Taksim's menu. Taksim used to be a go-to for really excellent, high quality food with inventive flavors for a great price, but the new recipes Taksim is using for old favorites are truly terrible. Th

best Turkish food in town!
I love the changes that have been made here! My Turkish husband and I ate here a couple month's ago and weren't that impressed, but after revisiting this weekend, the quality of the food has improved greatly! Now that they have a Turkish chef in the kitch
