    Excellent Japanese bistro

I work around the area and always go there for lunch with my coworkers. And we all love this bistro for its good quality food and fast friendly service, fish is always fresh as well. And I love the tiger roll that they made for us. Strongly recommend.

Good, solid and great lunch specials

Can't go wrong if you want a two or three roll special for lunch. My wife and I sometimes order to go and take it home for dinner.

    Not recommended

Decided to go here because of the convenience and now wishing I took a longer walk. The soup (the worst part) not even filled to the top, was cold and tasted like dish water. The salad didn't look unappetizing, but had a funky taste, maybe because the dressing was so liquidy. I decided to keep optimistic, hoping the Chicken Teriayaki was at least good. Fail. The chicken was sliced weird, looked and tasted like Oscar Meyer chicken selects. It wasn't even on top of the rice which was a small ball in the corner. The veggies (1 head of broccoli, A carrot, and a pile of mushy onions) were cold and way undercooked (if even cooked at all). The sushi, well, I don't like sushi so I can't judge the flavor, but I'm just wishing the rest was better quality in lieu of that. The price was average for NYC and they were fast, but not worth the $10. I've had better at just about everywhere else. I'm not a picky eater, but this was disappointing. Now I'm sad and still hungry. :(

    Fresh high quality

The quality of sushi here can't be beat for the price. Service is not so friendly, but they get the job done. Highly recommend for takeout.

    Crazy for lunch

This place is totally packed during lunch hour, with so many people waiting to get a table it is sometimes hard to get a table without reservation. Nonetheless, I love this place, I think they have very fresh sushi and i really like their crazy roll. some times, I will have my dinner at this place, because it is so much quieter and peaceful.

    not that great

I think the rating for this place might be a bit high. I had a couple of rolls and it just wasn't that delicious. I have a very low tolerance for mediocre sushi though. Anyway the waitresses are cute and nice but not worth my money.

    good place for sushi

I think this is one of the best sushi place in the area.. love the staff. Their food is good, the sashimi slices are HUGE, :) I think it is totally worth the price.
